I worked several years as a Manager with the Groundwork trust, a leading UK environmental organisation, and I have a RHS qualification in horticulture. My gardening experience is varied and includes work at Arley Hall, 8 acres of RHS affiliated gardens in Cheshire, and Glebelands organic market garden, a food growing business in Greater Manchester.

The Dukeries Neighbours Association, helping local residents green two gated back alleys, using planters made out of reclaimed timber and locally sourced terracotta pots.

Offshoots, a permaculture social enterprise, based in Burnley. I helped to develop a business plan for their new composting venture http://www.offshoots.org.uk

Rotters, a composting social enterprise based in Liverpool. I helped prepared a funding application and a business plan to expand their composting work to kitchen waste from catering businesses.
